Thomas Armon Pridgen (born November 23, 1983) is an American drummer, best known for his role as the drummer of The Mars Volta from 2006 until 2009. He is touring with rapper Residente and is the drummer for hardcore punk band Trash Talk , as well as his own project The Memorials .

Born in 1983 in Alameda County, California, Pridgen has a blistering style and solid technique that have led to performances in gospel music, a three-year stint with rock band the Mars Volta, and work with such artists as Christian Scott, Wicked Wisdom, and as the live and sessions drummer for singer Keyshia Cole.

Thomas Armon Pridgen is drummer for The Mars Volta. He began recording music professionally at age eight, and won the Guitar Center Drum-Off at age nine. At age ten he became the youngest recipient for a Zildjian endorsement in the nearly 400 year history of the cymbal company.
