  5. History. Originated from Birmingham circa 1971. Recorded at Central Sound Studios, London, 1972. Glenn Tipton and Pete Hughes had previously played together in Shave ‘em Dry and Merlin. Flying Hat Band signed to Vertigo and are rumoured to have recorded an LP which remains unreleased.
