Biografía. Schnitzler se dedicó a la exploración musical desde finales de los años sesenta del siglo XX sobre todo en el ámbito de la música electrónica. Es calificado por analistas del género como pionero y creador de estilos de música electrónica como el krautrock, la música cósmica o el ambient.

Conrad " Conny " Schnitzler (1937 – 4 August 2011) was a prolific German experimental musician associated with West Germany's 1970s krautrock movement. A co-founder of West Berlin's Zodiak Free Arts Lab, [1] he was an early member of Tangerine Dream (1969–1970) and a founder of the band Kluster.

Conrad Schnitzler (1937–2011) In the early 1960s, Conrad Schnitzler met Joseph Beuys in a bar in Düsseldorf. Beuys was at the start of his legendary run as a professor of ‘monumental sculpture’ at Düsseldorf’s Kunstakademie. Schnitzler was a sailor, who specialized in fixing the engines of merchant ships in nearby ports.
Conrad Schnitzler (17 March 1937 - 4 August 2011) was an institution in the German electronic music scene for thirty years. He studied with Joseph Beuys in the mid 1960’s, and in the late sixties joined the then fledgling German rock band Tangerine Dream.
