Recorded live at the “Modernes” in Bremen, Germany on February 9, 1989, Dykes and company put on a rocking good time that was captured in this two-CD set.

The Howlers include Wes Starr and Bruce Jones, who have been playing with Omar since Big Leg Beat (1980), as well as Mike Buck, Ronnie James, and smokin' guitar from Casper Rawls and Derek O'Brien.

by Dan Forte. Omar Dykes is back! In 2017, the Austin blues-rocker was stricken with a mysterious flesh-eating rash that rendered his massive arms puny. It was doubtful he'd ever play guitar again, let alone punish a Strat. At last, he has returned in fine form.
4 de oct. de 2015 · Kent “Omar” Dykes is in mourning. Four friends of The Howlers' frontman passed away this year, but instead of going the traditional route, Dykes came up with a way to honor them that involved his plumbing skills.
