The school is named after Saint Robert of Newminster. As a Catholic school it is under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Hexham and Newcastle.

  3. The whole school theme this week has been ‘Gratitude’. Our daily prayers have focused on the benefits of adopting an attitude of gratitude. We also welcomed Mr Derrick and 8W1 to our chapel today as they led us in our Celebration of the Word.
