Duke Georg Alexander of Mecklenburg-Strelitz (Russian: Георгий Георгиевич Мекленбург-Стрелицкий; 6 June 1859 – 5 December 1909) was the eldest of the two surviving sons of Duke Georg August of Mecklenburg-Strelitz and of Grand Duchess Catherine Mikhailovna of Russia.
Georg Alexander, Duke of Mecklenburg (German: Georg Alexander Herzog zu Mecklenburg; 27 August 1921 – 26 January 1996) was the head of the House of Mecklenburg-Strelitz from 1963 until his death.
Duke Georg Alexander succeeded as head of the House of Mecklenburg-Strelitz upon the death of his father on 6 July 1963, however with Mecklenburg being behind the Iron Curtain he was unable to play an active role in the state.
His Highness Georg Alexander Michael Friedrich Wilhelm Franz Carl, Duke of Mecklenburg, Prince of Wenden, Schwerin and Ratzeburg, Count of Schwerin, Lord of the Lands of Rostock and Stargard, was born on 6 June 1859 at the Remplin Palace.
