Boris II (en búlgaro: Борис II) fue zar (emperador) de Bulgaria de 969 a 977 (en cautiverio Bizantino desde 971). Boris II era el hijo mayor del emperador Pedro I y María (rebautizada Irene) Lacapena, una nieta del emperador Romano I Lecapeno de Bizancio. Boris había nacido hacia 931, cuando su madre visitó Constantinopla.
Boris II (Church Slavonic: Борисъ В҃; Bulgarian: Борис II; c. 931 – 977) was emperor of Bulgaria from 969 to 977 (in Byzantine captivity from 971). Boris II was the eldest surviving son of Emperor Peter I of Bulgaria and Maria (renamed Eirene) Lekapena, a granddaughter of Emperor Romanos I Lekapenos of Byzantium.
