  1. Lady Margaret Courtenay ( c. 1499 – before 1526) was the only daughter of William Courtenay, 1st Earl of Devon and Catherine of York. Her maternal grandparents were Edward IV of England and Elizabeth Woodville. Margaret was a younger sister of Henry Courtenay, 1st Marquess of Exeter.

  3. Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester ( c. 1496 – 26 November 1549) was an English nobleman. He was the son of Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert, 3rd Baroness Herbert. On his father's death on 15 April 1526, he succeeded as the second Earl of Worcester.

    Henry Somerset, 2nd Earl of Worcester (c.1496-26 Nov 1549) was the son of Charles Somerset, 1st Earl of Worcester and Elizabeth Herbert, Baroness Herbert. He married twice: 1. Margaret Courtenay, daughter of William Courtenay, 1st Earl of Devon and Catherine Plantagenet, by papal dispensation issued 15 June 1514. Margaret died before 15 April 1526....

    When he was born the Welsh counties had not been dictated by the English, so he was born in an area controlled by one of the Marcher Lordships, the ancient Kingdom of Gwent, in the cantref of Is Coed. When he died this same area was in the new county of Monmouthshire.
