Many of the Beatles' live shows were full of Rock 'N' Roll covers of Carl Perkins's songs such as 'Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby', 'Matchbox' and 'Honey Don't'. His version of "Blue Suede Shoes" was included by the National Recording Preservation Board in the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress in 2006.
