20 de jul. de 2023 · Titled Fatale, THE NIGHT ETERNAL’s second album immediately conjures an intoxicating aura: harder and heavier and definitely DARKER, and yet also somehow smoother and more mysterious. Dynamics play a key here on Fatale; while the Germans still rock hard, a keen grasp of nuance colors these nine anthems, almost purple velvet in atmosphere.
The Wedding Eternal! Had the honor to play a couple of songs for our close friends @nienmaren and @joshua_steinweg - who‘s also the man behind our sound! We exclusively played Priest‘s „Night Comes Down“ as well as „Rhiannon“ and „Elysion“! Congratulations! A night to remember eternally!
The Night Eternal’s second album really seems to hone in on the gothic elements of their dark heavy metal style. The echoing production immerses the proceedings in a cavernous haze, the drum patterns have an off-the-cuff spryness, and the vocals dominate the mix leaning on a delivery that sounds like Satan’s Brian Ross doing a Danzig impression.
