Alkitrang Dugo is a 1975 Filipino survival drama film directed by Lupita A. Concio. The story and screenplay written by Nicanor B. Cleto Jr. was based on the 1954 novel Lord of the Flies by English novelist Sir William Golding.

Alkitrang Dugo is a Filipino movie released in 1975 that was based on the dystopian novel Lord of the Flies by the English writer and poet William Golding (Pincher Martin, To the Ends of the Earth, The Scorpion God).
Filipino adaptation of “Lord of the Flies” (Golding gets an “inspired by” credit) that ramps up the sexuality (the survivors are a mix of boys and girls) while largely toning down the savagery. Spectacular cinematography (helped by filming on location in Lipata, Quezon), and in particular with a score that is pure fever dream nightmare fuel.
