In my opinion there is not a good film adaptation of the divine comedy, or even the Inferno specifically (and tbh I believe it is one of those concepts that would be hard to adapt to film, see: Lovecraft). As other's have mentioned there's an animated film of the Inferno but as I recall it wasn't like the source material at all .
