A racecar driver is banned from the tracks because of drunkenness; however, when a society girl falls in love with him, she encourages him to return to racing with her automobile manufacturer father's assistance.
The Racing Strain plot. A race car driver (Wallace Reid, Jr.) is suspended for drunkenness. His girlfriend tries to convince him to give his best and start racing again. However, if he wants to do so, he is drugged by an opponent and unfit to drive. A teenager, a young friend of his, takes over from him and has to try to win the race.
