David Kellogg Lewis (Oberlin, 28 de septiembre de 1941-Princeton, 14 de octubre de 2001) fue un filósofo estadounidense, considerado uno de los más importantes filósofos analíticos de la última mitad del siglo XX.

Considerada como una disciplina dentro de la teoría de juegos, la teoría de la decisión consiste en un tipo de análisis aplicable a diversas áreas como la sociología, la economía, las ciencias en general (especialmente en el método científico) y, por supuesto, la filosofía.

David Kellogg Lewis (September 28, 1941 – October 14, 2001) was an American philosopher. Lewis taught briefly at UCLA and then at Princeton University from 1970 until his death. He is closely associated with Australia, whose philosophical community he visited almost annually for more than 30 years.
