Mehmet Kurtuluş es un actor y productor turco-alemán, más conocido por haber interpretado a Gabriel en la película Kurz und schmerzlos, a Cenk Batu en la serie alemana Tatort y a Derviş Mehmed Pasha en la serie turca Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem.
Mehmet Kurtuluş (born 27 April 1972) is a Turkish-German actor. He is best known for his work with German director Fatih Akin.
Biografía. Mehmet Kurtulus interpretó varios papeles menores en diferentes programas de televisión y continuó trabajando en el teatro hasta su debut en la pantalla grande en su papel principal como el joven turco Gabriel en la película Short Sharp Shock (1998) de Fatih Akın.

He went back to working in television with the love film Eine Liebe in Saigon (Love in Saigon) with Luxembourgian actress Désirée Nosbusch (to whom Kurtuluş is engaged). Kurtuluş played the main detective role in six episodes of the cult German television series Tatort.
