William Nigel Ernle Bruce (4 de febrero de 1895-8 de octubre de 1953), usualmente conocido como Nigel Bruce, fue un actor británico de reparto, que trabajó para el cine y el teatro, y que se hizo famoso como el Doctor Watson en una serie de películas y obras radiofónicas interpretadas junto a Basil Rathbone, este en el papel de Sherlock Holmes.
William Nigel Ernle Bruce (4 February 1895 – 8 October 1953) was a British character actor on stage and screen. He was best known for his portrayal of Dr. Watson in a series of films and in the radio series The New Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, starring with Basil Rathbone as Sherlock Holmes in both.
A prominent member of the resident English colony in Hollywood, Nigel Bruce at one time captained the cricket club established by fellow actor and compatriot C. Aubrey Smith in 1932 (other members included P.G. Wodehouse, Boris Karloff, Ronald Colman and David Niven).
