Stanislaus Pascal Franchot Tone (February 27, 1905 – September 18, 1968) was an American actor, producer, and director of stage, film and television. He was a leading man in the 1930s and early 1940s, and at the height of his career was known for his gentlemanly sophisticate roles, with supporting roles by the 1950s.
Franchot Tone (nacido Stanislaus Pascal Franchot Tone; Niagara Falls, Nueva York; 27 de febrero de 1905-Nueva York, 18 de septiembre de 1968) fue un actor teatral, cinematográfico y televisivo estadounidense.
Franchot Tone. Actor: Dangerous. President of the Dramatic Club at Cornell University, Franchot Tone gave up the family business for acting, making his Broadway debut in "The Age of Innocence". Tone then went into movies for MGM, making his film debut (at Paramount Pictures) in The Wiser Sex (1932).
