Samuel Marx (born Simon Marx; October 23, 1859 – May 10, 1933) was the father of the American entertainers known as the Marx Brothers, stars of vaudeville, Broadway and film, and the husband of Minnie Marx, who served as the group's manager. [1] Life and family.

Monkey Business is a 1931 American pre-Code comedy film. [3] [4] It is the third of the Marx Brothers ' released movies ( Groucho, Harpo, Chico and Zeppo ), and the first with an original screenplay rather than an adaptation of one of their Broadway shows. The film also features Thelma Todd, Harry Woods and Ruth Hall.
