Sonny Carl Davis is an American film and television actor. He has appeared in numerous film and television productions, best known as Cowboy in Pinnell's Last Night at the Alamo and as local Texan explaining his state in Richard Linklater's Bernie.

5 de oct. de 2023 · Sonny Carl Davis plays the central role of Cowboy, a smooth-talking big shot who claims to know a well-connected politician in Austin who can save the Alamo from being closed down. Davis attended a TPR Cinema screening of "Last Night at the Alamo" in June 2023, and recalled getting the part: "It was well within my range," he said with a smile.
