Biographie. Mit 13 Jahren kam L. nach Straßburg und wurde in einem franz. Pensionat erzogen. Als sie im Sommer 1821 mit ihrer Mutter zu den Großeltern Brösigke nach Marienbad reiste, begegnete sie in deren Haus „Stadt Weimar“ – einem der vornehmsten des damaligen Marienbad – Goethe, der dort zur Kur Wohnung genommen hatte.
