Overview. Martin Lundt, heir to his family's industrial business, falls for and, against his family's wishes, weds the family maid, Régine. Soon thereafter, rumors begin to circulate about Régine's faithfulness and being to haunt Martin. Harald Braun. Director.
Martin falls in love with the lovely maid Regine (Johanna MATZ), whose father (Gustav KNUTH) and brother (Horst BUCHHOLZ) work as workers in the steel mill. Not good conditions for a carefree future! After the glamorous wedding, the difficulties for the mismatched couple only begin.
