The Knife fue un dúo sueco de electropop y electrónica alternativa independiente formado en 1999 en Gotemburgo por los hermanos Karin Dreijer Andersson y Olof Dreijer, que editan sus discos a través de su propia discográfica, Rabid Records.
The Knife were a Swedish electronic music duo from Gothenburg, formed in 1999. The group consisted of siblings Karin and Olof Dreijer, who together also run their own record company, Rabid Records. They gained a large international following in response to their 2003 album Deep Cuts.
The Knife’s self-titled debut album followed in February 2001, a testament to the fruitfulness of those initial recording sessions. Musically, The Knife reaches out in many directions. The Knife is Olof Dreijer and Karin Dreijer. They are based in Stockholm, Sweden and have made music together since 1999, released on their own label Rabid Records.

The Knife are 20 in 2020. To commemorate the release of our first 7" back on August 14, 2000, we have made our full catalogue available on streaming services and digital stores through our label Rabid Records. This includes our soundtrack to the Swedish film Hannah Med H and Live At Terminal 5.
