LiteFoot, es conocido por ser el primer nativo estadounidense en realizar música rap, llamando a su estilo de hip hop y funk tribal. El término fue un invento de LiteFoot, creado para describir el tipo de música que era una mezcla híbrida de hip-hop desde el Medio Oeste y la Costa Oeste con alguna influencia de Dirty South.
Gary Paul Davis (born September 11, 1968), better known professionally as Litefoot, is a Native American (Cherokee Nation) business professional, actor, and musician. He is the Executive Director of the Native American Financial Services Association (NAFSA), CEO of Davis Strategy Group and a member of the Forbes Finance Council.
Litefoot is an award winning actor and has starred in several feature films and popular television shows including, The Indian In The Cupboard (Paramount), Mortal Kombat, Annihilation (New Line Cinema), Kull, The Conqueror (Universal), and House of Cards (Netflix).
