Ivan Bohun (Ukrainian: Іван Богун) (died 1664) was a Zaporozhian Cossack colonel. Close associate and friend of Bohdan Khmelnytsky , he opposed both the pacts with Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth ( Treaty of Hadiach of 1658) and with Tsardom of Russia ( Pereiaslav Agreement of 1654).

The 1st Special Purpose Brigade "Ivan Bohun" ( Ukrainian: 1-ша окрема бригада спеціального призначення ім. Івана Богуна) or the Bohun Brigade is a brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces formed in 2022 on the basis of a National Guard brigade transffered as a part of the Ukrainian Ground Forces.

Bohun, Ivan. Bohun, Ivan, d February 1664. Colonel of Kalnyk (Vinnytsia) (1649–58) (see Vinnytsia regiment ), one of the most important leaders of the Khmelnytsky period; a descendant of the Ukrainian petty nobility. In 1648 Bohun fought against the Poles in the Bratslav region and distinguished himself in the Battle of Pyliavtsi.
