  1. General William Henry Kerr, 4th Marquess of Lothian, KT (1710 – 12 April 1775) was a Scottish nobleman, British soldier and politician, the eldest son of William Kerr, 3rd Marquess of Lothian. He was styled Master of Jedburgh until 1722, Lord Jedburgh from 1722 to 1735, and Earl of Ancram from 1735 to 1767. [1]

  2. Her husband, Sir William Kerr (eldest son of Sir Robert Kerr, later 1st Earl of Ancram) was created Lord Kerr of Newbattle and Earl of Lothian in 1631. On her death in 1667 their eldest son became 4th Earl of Lothian (though he was not recognised as such) and on her husband's death in 1675 also 2nd Earl of Lothian.

  3. General William John Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian, KT (13 March 1737 – 4 January 1815) was a British soldier and peer, styled Lord Newbattle until 1767 and Earl of Ancrum from 1767 to 1775. He was buried at St Andrew's parish Church, Farnham, Surrey on 19 January 1815.

He was the eldest son of Robert, 4th Earl and 1st Marquis of Lothian and his wife Lady Jean Campbell. In 1692 he succeeded his kinsman Robert Kerr as Lord Jedburgh, and his father as 2nd Marquis in 1703.

  7. William Kerr, 6th Marquess of Lothian, KT, FRSE (4 October 1763 – 27 April 1824), was a British soldier, landowner and politician. He was the son of William Kerr, 5th Marquess of Lothian . He served as a representative peer from 1817 to 1824.
