Timothy Williamson FRSE FBA (born 6 August 1955) is a British philosopher whose main research interests are in philosophical logic, philosophy of language, epistemology and metaphysics. He is the former Wykeham Professor of Logic at the University of Oxford, and a fellow of New College, Oxford.
Timothy Williamson is Senior Research and Teaching Fellow in Philosophy and Emeritus Wykeham Professor of Logic at the University of Oxford, and a Fellow of New College Oxford. He was the Wykeham Professor of Logic from 2000 to 2023, He was born in Uppsala, Sweden, in 1955.
