Pieter Pourbus ( Gouda, 1523- Brujas, 1584) fue un pintor renacentista flamenco. Biografía. Establecido en Brujas hacia 1540, en 1543 fue admitido en el gremio de pintores de la ciudad; casi al mismo tiempo se casó con la hermana del pintor local Lancelot Blondeel. Permaneció en Brujas hasta su muerte en 1584.
Pieter Jansz. Pourbus (c. 1523–1584) was a Flemish Renaissance painter, draftsman, engineer and cartographer who was active in Bruges during the 16th century. He is known primarily for his religious and portrait paintings.

29 de may. de 2023 · Pieter Pourbus. Nació en Gouda, Países Bajos en 1523. Fue el iniciador de una saga de pintores. Le siguió su hijo Frans Porbus, El Viejo y su nieto Frans Porbus, El Joven. Era así mismo era yerno del pintor Lancelot Blondeel. Se trasladó siendo muy joven a Brujas, donde realizaría toda su carrera.
