Gerard Stigter (6 November 1936 – 12 August 2021), known by the pseudonym K. Schippers, was a Dutch poet, prose writer and art critic. Credited with having introduced the readymade as a poetic form, the whole of his work is dedicated to looking at everyday objects and events in a new way.

13 de ago. de 2021 · De Nederlandse dichter en schrijver K. Schippers is gisteren overleden. Dat heeft zijn uitgeverij Querido vandaag bekendgemaakt via Twitter. K. Schippers, een pseudoniem voor Gerard Stigter, werd 84 jaar. Schippers was in de jaren 60 een belangrijke vernieuwer in de Nederlandse poëzie.
7 de oct. de 2020 · This chapter focuses on the essayistic work of Dutch literary writer K. Schippers. In his book Niet verder vertellen [Don’t tell anyone] (2015), Schippers travels to Italy (Turin and Stampa) to follow in the footsteps of Italian painters De Chirico and Giacometti.
