Antoine de Bourbon, roi de Navarre (22 April 1518 – 17 November 1562) was the King of Navarre through his marriage (jure uxoris) to Queen Jeanne III, from 1555 until his death. He was the first monarch of the House of Bourbon, of which he was head from 1537.

Antonio de Borbón ( La Fère, 22 de abril de 1518- Ruan, 10 de noviembre de 1562) fue un príncipe de sangre francés. Ostentó los títulos de duque de Borbón y de Vendôme, como jefe de la Casa de Borbón (1537-1562); sin embargo, es más conocido por ser rey de Navarra por matrimonio ( jure uxoris) junto a su esposa, Juana de Albret (1555-1562).
When her father died in 1555, Jeanne and Antoine ascended the Navarrese throne. They reigned as joint rulers until Antoine died from battle wounds in 1562. Jeanne was the acknowledged spiritual and political leader of the French Huguenot movement, and a key figure in the French Wars of Religion.

His parents were Jeanne III of Navarre (Jeanne d'Albret) and her husband, Antoine de Bourbon, Duke of Vendôme, King of Navarre. Although baptised as a Catholic, Henry was raised in the Calvinist faith by his mother, [3] who had declared Calvinism the religion of Navarre.
