Baron Charles-Ferdinand Nicolas Marie Pierre Nothomb (3 May 1936 – 19 April 2023) was a Belgian politician. Family and early life. Nothomb was born in Brussels in 1936, the thirteenth and youngest child of the writer and politician Pierre Nothomb, and grew up in Habay in the province of Luxembourg.
Charles-Ferdinand Nothomb, né le 3 mai 1936 à Bruxelles et mort le 19 avril 2023 1 à Habay-la-Neuve 2, est un homme politique belge, membre du Parti social-chrétien (PSC) et ministre d'État à partir du 30 janvier 1995. Il se lance très jeune dans la vie politique et devient député en 1968, puis président du PSC de 1972 à 1979.
