Geoffrey Plantagenet, Count of Anjou. Geoffrey V (24 August 1113 – 7 September 1151), called the Handsome, the Fair ( French: le Bel) or Plantagenet, was the Count of Anjou, Touraine and Maine by inheritance from 1129, and also Duke of Normandy by his marriage claim, and conquest, from 1144.

Geoffrey IV (born Aug. 24, 1113—died Sept. 7, 1151, Le Mans, Maine [France]) was the count of Anjou (1131–51), Maine, and Touraine and ancestor of the Plantagenet kings of England through his marriage, in June 1128, to Matilda (q.v.), daughter of Henry I of England.
