Irwin Elliott Zucker (August 6, 1927 – August 18, 2001) was an American television and film composer, conductor, music arranger, television producer, and co-founder of the New American Orchestra, later renamed the American Jazz Philharmonic.

Among four GRAMMY nominations, Ramblin' Jack Elliott won his first GRAMMY Award in 1996 for South Coast in the Best Traditional Folk Album category. In 1998, President Bill Clinton awarded Jack the National Medal of the Arts, proclaiming, "In giving new life to our most valuable musical traditions, Ramblin' Jack has himself become an American treasure.

Composer, author, songwriter ("Sam's Song", "It's So Nice to Have a Man Around the House", "In the Wee Small Hours of the Morning") and singer, educated in high school and then a singer in vaudeville, night clubs, theatres and radio. In 1939, he worked as a reporter for the Chicago 'Variety'.
