James Eli Watson (* 2. November 1864 in Winchester, Randolph County, Indiana; † 29. Juli 1948 in Washington, D.C.) war ein US-amerikanischer Politiker der Republikanischen Partei. Von 1895 bis 1897 und von 1899 bis 1909 saß er für den US-Bundesstaat Indiana im US-Repräsentantenhaus.
James Eli Watson (November 2, 1864 – July 29, 1948) was a U.S. Representative and U.S. Senator from Indiana. He was the Senate's second official majority leader. While an article published by the Senate (see References) gives his year of birth as 1862, this is most probably incorrect.
James Dewey Watson (born April 6, 1928) is an American molecular biologist, geneticist, and zoologist. In 1953, he co-authored with Francis Crick the academic paper proposing the double helix structure of the DNA molecule.
