Marie of Cleves (19 September 1426 – 23 August 1487) was the third wife of Charles, Duke of Orléans. She was born a German princess, the last child of Adolph I, Duke of Cleves and his second wife, Mary of Burgundy. Marie was a patron of letters and commissioned many works; she was also an active poet herself, producing ballads and other verses.

Anne of Cleves (German: Anna von Kleve; 1515 – 16 July 1557) was Queen of England from 6 January to 12 July 1540 as the fourth wife of King Henry VIII. Not much is known about Anne before 1527, when she became betrothed to Francis, Duke of Bar , son and heir of Antoine, Duke of Lorraine , although their marriage did not proceed.

Marie of Cleves or of Nevers, by marriage the Princess of Condé, was the wife of Henry, Prince of Condé, and an early love interest of King Henry III of France. She was the last child of Francis I of Cleves, Duke of Nevers, and Marguerite of Bourbon-Vendôme, elder sister of Antoine of Navarre.
