Meinhardiner. Die Meinhardiner, auch Görzer oder Grafen von Görz genannt, waren eine Herrscherdynastie von ursprünglich bairischer Abstammung, die ihre Machtbasis zunächst in Görz und danach in Tirol hatte. Im Mittelalter gehörten die Meinhardiner zu den bedeutendsten Adelshäusern des südlichen Alpenraumes.
The Counts of Gorizia (German: Grafen von Görz; Italian: Conti di Gorizia; Slovene: Goriški grofje), also known as the Meinhardiner, House of Meinhardin, were a comital, princely and ducal dynasty in the Holy Roman Empire.
Meinhard II (c. 1238 - 1 de noviembre de 1295), miembro de la Casa de Goricia ( Meinhardiner ), gobernó el Condado de Goricia (como Meinhard IV) y el Condado de Tirol junto con su hermano menor Albert de 1258, hasta que en 1271 dividieron su patrimonio y Meinhard se convirtió en el único gobernante de Tirol.
Meinhard I (c. 1070 – 1142), an ancestor of the noble House of Gorizia (Meinhardiner dynasty), was a Count of Gorizia in the first half of the 12th century. He also held the offices of a Count palatine in the Duchy of Carinthia as well as Vogt governor of the Patriarchate of Aquileia and of St Peter Abbey in the March of Istria .

Meinhard II, nicknamed the Elder (c. 1160 – 1231), a member of the House of Gorizia (Meinhardiner), was ruling Count of Gorizia from 1220 until his death. He also held the title of Vogt (Reeve) of the Patriarchate of Aquileia .
