Sauli Väinämö Niinistö (Salo, Finlandia, 24 de agosto de 1948) es un político finlandés del partido liberal Coalición Nacional, presidente de su país desde marzo de 2012 hasta marzo de 2024. Fue Ministro de Justicia de 1995 a 1996 y Ministro de Hacienda de 1996 a 2003.
Niinistö was the NCP candidate in the 2012 presidential election, defeating Pekka Haavisto of the Green League (VIHR) with 62.6% of the vote in the decisive second round. Niinistö assumed office on 1 March 2012; he is the first NCP president since Juho Kusti Paasikivi, who left office in 1956.

Sauli Väinämö Niinistö, född 24 augusti 1948 i Salo, Egentliga Finland, är en finländsk jurist, bankdirektör och politiker (Samlingspartiet) samt Finlands president mellan 1 mars 2012, då han efterträdde Tarja Halonen, och 1 mars 2024 då han efterträddes av Alexander Stubb.
Sauli Niinistö was the 12th President of the Republic of Finland. He was inaugurated on 1 March 2012 and was re-elected for another six-year term in January 2018. His second term in office began on 1 February 2018.
