Torresdale, also formerly known as Torrisdale, is a neighborhood in the Far Northeast section of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. Torresdale is located along the Delaware River between Holmesburg and Bensalem Township in neighboring Bucks County .

All Saints' Torresdale Episcopal Church is an Episcopal church in the Torresdale neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church was founded in 1772, an extension of Philadelphia's Old Trinity Church. The present church building, designed by Frank Wills, was completed in 1855.
In 1977, the Torresdale campus, now known as Jefferson Torresdale Hospital, opened in northeast Philadelphia. It is a 258-bed hospital, and a Level II trauma center. The Torresdale campus has a 1,300 car parking garage. There are also partner urgent care clinics in the Torresdale area.
Torresdale station is a SEPTA Regional Rail station in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Located at Grant Avenue and James Street in the Torresdale neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, it serves the Trenton Line . The station is located along the Northeast Corridor, owned by Amtrak.
While the Northeast remained predominantly rural following the Act of Incorporation’s passage, some of Philadelphia’s well-heeled elite erected palatial mansions and estates in Holmesburg and Torresdale, with the most notable Victorian structure being the opulent Glen Foerd mansion, which still overlooks the Delaware River, in Torresdale.
