Utrecht, conocida en la historiografía española como Utrique, es la provincia más pequeña del actual Reino de los Países Bajos y es una de las provincias que forman la Randstad ( conurbación de los Países Bajos). Su capital es la ciudad homónima.

Utrecht ( uitspraak ⓘ) is met een landoppervlakte van 1.485 [3] km² de op een na kleinste provincie van Nederland. In 2019 telde de provincie 1.342.158 inwoners. De dichtbevolkte en centraal gelegen provincie wordt deels tot de Randstad gerekend. De hoofdstad en grootste stad is Utrecht (inw. 374.411).

Utrecht (en español: Utrique, exónimo en desuso) es una ciudad de los Países Bajos, capital de la provincia homónima. Ubicada en la parte central del país, se trata de la cuarta ciudad en importancia.
Utrecht ligt centraal in Nederland en in de provincie Utrecht. De stad is ontstaan aan een kromming van de Rijn, toen de hoofdarm van de rivier die de loop van de huidige Kromme Rijn en Oude Rijn volgde. Op de plek van het huidige Domplein lag een Romeins castellum.
Die Provinz ist in der Mitte der Niederlande gelegen. Der Westen besteht aus Poldern, die nordöstliche Hälfte ist ein bewaldetes Sandgebiet mit Hügeln, die bis zu 50–69 Meter hoch sind. Es trägt den Namen Utrechtse Heuvelrug („Utrechter Hügelrücken“).
