Leopoldina de Braganza y Borbón-Dos Sicilias (Río de Janeiro, 13 de julio de 1847 – Viena, 7 de febrero de 1871) fue hija del emperador Pedro II de Brasil y de la princesa Teresa Cristina de Borbón-Dos Sicilias. Fue la segunda en la línea de sucesión al trono del Imperio del Brasil.

The green immediately came to stand for the House of Bragança, and golden yellow was already widely familiar as the colour of the Habsburg dynasty. Today green and yellow remain the dominant colours in the Brazilian flag, and the yellow is still there in homage to the Habsburg Princess Leopoldina.
