Dadurch ergibt sich ein ganz eigenes Stadtgefühl: Die Spandauer sind sehr lokalpatriotisch und bezeichnen sich selbst auch lieber als Spandauer denn als Berliner. Der Stolz ist gut begründet. Die Keimzelle der Altstadt Spandau, der Kolk, ist älter als Berlin.
