En 2020 se estrenará Wonder Woman 1984 (2020), la secuela de la primera película, en donde Gadot regresa en el rol de Diana Prince .
Gadot went on to achieve global stardom for her portrayal of Wonder Woman in the DC Extended Universe, including in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016), Wonder Woman (2017) and Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021). She has since starred in the Netflix action-comedy film Red Notice (2021) and the mystery film Death on the Nile (2022).
