Elsa Lanchester (Lewisham, Londres; 28 de octubre de 1902 - Woodland Hills, Los Ángeles; 26 de diciembre de 1986) fue una actriz británica conocida por su papel en la película La novia de Frankenstein (1935), en la que era la novia del monstruo, y por ser Katie Nanna, la niñera de Mary Poppins (1964).
Nació el 28 de octubre de 1902 en Lewisham. Contrajo matrimonio con Charles Laughton en 1929. Hizo su debut en la gran pantalla en 1933. Su físico no le ayudó a conseguir grandes papeles.
