Karolinum (formerly Latin: Collegium Carolinum, in Czech Karlova kolej) is a complex of buildings located in the Old Town of Prague. Karolinum, the seat of the Charles University, is one of the oldest dormitories situated in Central Europe. The dormitory was named after the Emperor Charles IV.

Collegium Carolinum neboli „Karlova kolej“, je historické sídlo Karlovy univerzity v budově její nejstarší univerzitní koleje, která byla pojmenována po svém zakladateli Karlu IV. Nachází se na Starém Městě v Praze, na rohu Ovocného trhu a Železné ulice, jižně od Staroměstského náměstí.

La Universidad Carolina (en checo Univerzita Karlova y en latín Universitas Carolina) fundada en 1348 en Praga ( Bohemia ), actualmente en la República Checa, es la universidad más antigua y una de las universidades más prestigiosas en la Europa Central y del Este.
Karolinum. Este monumento único pertenece a la Universidad Carolina desde el año 1383, cuando el hijo del fundador de dicha universidad, el rey Wenceslao IV, adquirió para que funcionara como colegio mayor uno de los palacios más importantes de la Ciudad Vieja. El aspecto actual del Karolinum es predominantemente barroco.
