Munsö är ett välbevarat sockencentrum med bland annat gamla prästgården och dess ekonomibyggnader, det tidigare klockarbostället, den numera nedlagda kyrkskolan samt den gamla fattigstugan och handelsboden.
Munsö kyrka - en rundkyrka med rötterna i 1100-talet. Den är en av Sveriges 8 rundkyrkor (från början 13 st) - ett intressant och udda inslag. Kyrkan är utsedd till en av Sveriges 10 vackraste kyrkor. Den blev kyrkligt kulturminne 1939.

Munsö Kyrka is one of the few round churches in Sweden with only eight remaining. It is located in the village Munsö in the north of the island Munsön in Lake Mälar, about 24 kilometres northwest of Ekerö.
