23 de ago. de 2022 · During the 2021 season, Sarah Gorden earned Chicago’s first Iron Woman title after playing every minute of every game – 2,160 minutes through 24 games – and was a nominee for NWSL Defender of the Year. A switch to Angel City then followed but then irony struck in March – injury, and a bad one at that.
On December 19, 2023 it was announced that Gorden has signed a new contract with Angel City which would keep her at the club until 2026 with a mutual option for 2027. For the 2024 season, Gorden was named as Vice Captain of the team.
