Zerbst/Anhalt ist eine Stadt im Landkreis Anhalt-Bitterfeld im Land Sachsen-Anhalt. Mit 468,4 km² ist Zerbst die nach ihrer Fläche fünftgrößte Gemeinde in Deutschland.
Anhalt-Zerbst was a district in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It is bounded by (from the north and clockwise) the districts Potsdam-Mittelmark (Brandenburg) and Wittenberg, the city of Dessau and the districts of Köthen, Schönebeck and Jerichower Land.
Anhalt-Zerbst was a principality of the Holy Roman Empire ruled by the House of Ascania, with its residence at Zerbst in present-day Saxony-Anhalt. It emerged as a subdivision of the Principality of Anhalt from 1252 until 1396, when it was divided into the principalities of Anhalt-Dessau and Anhalt-Köthen.
