Tackle 13.1 miles through Chicago’s West Side! The Bank of America Chicago 13.1 course weaves through vibrant and culturally diverse neighborhoods, starting and finishing in Garfield Park.
The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is proud to have welcomed more than one million runners across its finish line since the event’s founding in 1977. 2023 RACE RESULTS. The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is known for its flat and fast course. The race starts and finishes in Grant Park and travels through one of the world’s most magnificent cities. The course has produced four world records, several national records and countless personal bests.
Today the Bank of America Chicago Marathon announced the return to 45,000 participants for the event’s 45th anniversary on Sunday, October 8, 2023. Runners who entered the non-guaranteed entry drawing for the 2023 race will be notified of their selection status today.
