Each pile represents a different suit and should be filled in order, starting with the Ace all the way to the King. You move cards into the foundation by dispensing cards from the stock pile and sequencing all cards in the tableau. Available Moves and Play Area. On the top left, you’ll see a stack of cards. There are roughly 13 piles used in Klondike Solitaire. 7 piles are for the tableau spaces. This is basically the main playing area. Then there are 4 piles for the foundations. This is your ultimate destination for your playing cards. Then there are 2 piles for the stock and the waste/discard pile.
The objective of the game Klondike Solitaire is to move all the cards to the foundation piles, which are located in the top right corner of the screen. The foundation piles should start with an Ace, followed by a 2, and so on until reaching the King.
Deal 28 cards in seven piles across your table. The first pile would have one card; the second one would have two; the third pile would have three, and so on. The top card on each pile stays facing up, while the others are face-down cards. The rest of the cards will rest on a stock pile in your upper left hand.

Stock Pile - the stock pile, located in the upper left corner of the screen, serves as a reserve of cards. When all cards in the tableau piles and the waste pile are exhausted, players can draw one card from the stock pile. This replenishes the available cards and provides new opportunities for movement.
