Princess Märtha of Sweden (Märtha Sofia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra; 28 March 1901 – 5 April 1954) was Crown Princess of Norway as the spouse of the future King Olav V from 1929 until her death in 1954. As Olav only became king in 1957, Märtha never became Queen of Norway.
Crown Princess Märtha of Norway was born in March 1901 in Stockholm as Princess Märtha Sophia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra of Sweden and Norway. She was the daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden and his consort, Ingeborg of Denmark. Märtha was the cousin of King Gustaf VI Adolf.

Christened Märtha Sofia Lovisa Dagmar Thyra, she was the daughter of Prince Carl of Sweden and Princess Ingeborg of Denmark. The Princess became engaged to her cousin, then Crown Prince Olav, during the 1928 Olympic Summer Games in Amsterdam.
