Baretta is an American detective television series which ran on ABC from 1975 to 1978. The show was a revised and milder version of a 1973–1974 ABC series, Toma, starring Tony Musante as chameleon-like, real-life New Jersey police officer David Toma.

Season 1 – Baretta. Maverick, street-smart undercover detective Tony Baretta does whatever it takes to bust the bad guys, even when it means going against his supervisors.
Baretta is working undercover searching for the Lu Chan gang from Hong Kong, who are responsible for a series of bank depository holdups. When newsstand operator Big Charlie helps, Baretta winds up killing one of the gang, making him a target.
